Lecture : Mad Men and the Artists -- how the advertising industry has exploited fine art by Tony Rawlins

** Non-members welcome to attend up to 3 lectures per year, £7 per lecture
** Students under 18, free of charge

We are meeting in the William Barry Theatre at the University of West London.

The lecture will start promptly at 8pm, with admission to the room from 7.15 when a glass of wine will be available.

Some parking is to be found in the UWL car park accessed from The Park on the north side of the campus.

Otherwise, parking restrictions in the surrounding streets are lifted from 7.30pm

The lecture will describe how fine art, including Raphael, Michelangelo and da Vinci, has influenced and helped create advertisements.

Through to the present day fine art continues to enhance brand imagery with humour, satire and irony
