-- MENDELSSOHN The Hebrides Overture (Fingal’s Cave) -- ELGAR Sea Pictures -- BERLIOZ Symphonie Fantastique

Conductor: Adrian Brown
Soloist: Janice Watson
Leader: Marina Solarek

We’re thrilled to open our new season with a truly special evening.

Not only because of the powerful music on the programme, but because we’re welcoming back an internationally renowned soloist who grew up right here in Harrow.

Janice Watson, a globally celebrated opera singer, will perform Elgar’s beautiful Sea Pictures with us, bringing her signature warmth and artistry to this much-loved song cycle.

We’ll also take you on a journey through Mendelssohn’s windswept Hebrides Overture (Fingal’s Cave) before diving into the wild, vivid imagination of Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique – a piece that’s as dramatic and electrifying as orchestral music gets.

All audience members are invited to come along a little earlier for our free pre-concert talk at 7pm to hear more about the music from conductor Adrian Brown
